Over 90 castle rock dads and their families represented the Dads of Castle Rock at the 67th Annual Douglas County Fair Parade to officially kick off the Douglas County Fair.
A majority of the dads pushed their lawn mowers, and one dad, Casey Cryan, who works for the town of Castle Rock, led the dads driving his TS6.110 tractor to pay homage for all dads everywhere.
“It was incredibly humbling and rewarding experience to actually see what a majority of the community thinks of us.” Chris Berens
The Dads of Castle Rock has worked tirelessly since 2019 to help their community. To be invited to be a participant in the Douglas County Fair Parade was not only a huge honor, it was a testament to the impact they have had in their community.
“I felt proud before, but seeing the support from our community was overwhelming.” Ashton Brooks
During the parade route, the lawn mowers brought laughs to much of the spectators, and cheers were heard throughout the route.
